The RBA South 13U Blue team marched to the championship at the Virginia Sports Complex on Cinco De Mayo to bring home the title of "Bat Wars" Champion. The Blue's pitching staff allowed a mere 6 runs over the 4 games on their way to the title. GREAT JOB FELLAS!!!!

Washington & Lee University announced that longtime RBA South student and summer camp instructor Alex Mait (Clover Hill class of 2009) was named 1st team all ODAC. Alex batted .323. He had five doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI, 16 runs and 10 walks. Mait also did not commit an error in 108 total chances. Congrats to Alex and the Mait family on this honor. We are very proud of the career Alex has had and are happy to have been along for the ride. Alex was one of the very first students RBA South had when we opened our doors back in the fall of 2000 and here we are 13 years later watching Alex put one final stamp on a great run. keith roberts commits to Longwood university!!!!
Congratulations to RBA South 17U Elite alumni Keith Roberts on his commitment to continue his baseball career at Longwood University. Keith is a longtime RBA South student from Clover Hill HS and we are very proud of his accomplishment. We look forward to him having a VERY successful career for the Lancers. Keith will join RBA South alumni Colton Konvicka, Joe Manion, and Collin Lawless in Farmville next season. Very successful weekend at "quest for the Best"
Numerous RBA South teams made it to the Championship Game in their respective Tournaments April 13-14. 8U, 9U and 10U all had a look at a Championship and the 10U team managed to break through some recent struggles and bring home the hardware at the Quest for the Best Tournament. Nathan Kirby combines on 1 hit shutout for uva

RBA South Alumnus Nathan Kirby (Fr., Midlothian, Va.- JRHS) fanned a career-best six batters in 3 1/3 hitless innings of relief as he and 3 other Cavalier pitchers combined to 1-hit Liberty on April 2. Kirby now has appeared in 11 games and has 23 k's vs 5 BB in 18 Innings on the season. Full details on the game can be found HERE

Taylor Hall continues to Dominate at the next level!!!!!
Big shout out to RBA South alumni Taylor Hall. The former Cosby catcher is currently the catcher at UMBC and was named America East Conference player of the week this past week (3/12/13). Taylor batted .611 and belted 2 Home Runs while driving in 11 in the 6 games UMBC played at the Retriever Classic. GREAT JOB TAYLOR!!!!!!
